About Pam Kersting

My Client-First Philosophy

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an exceptional real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

In my experience as a Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach-area real estate professional, I've found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

This "client first" philosophy has served me well and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.

So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in the Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Hampstead, Leland or Cape Fear Coastal areas, please contact me.  I am ready to assist you in all of your real estate needs!  Also, I love referrals!  If you know of anyone who is in need of real estate assistance, whether local or not, I am in a position to help them and would welcome a referral!

As a long time resident, I have made Wilmington my home.  I live in the Ogden/Middle Sound area with my husband Michael, an architect, and two sons William and Jack. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lynchburg College in Virginia and a Master of Landscape Architecture from NC State Universtity.   I enjoy being active in my community both physically and voluntarily.  I have volunteered over the years in many capacities including The Junior League of Wilmington, St. Mark Catholic Church and School, the New Hanover County Arboretum Foundation, Cape Fear Soccer Association, Wilmington Children's Museum, Junior Team Tennis, and the Smash Cancer Tennis Tournament.  I also love to stay active and enjoy all sorts of passive recreational sports such as running, walking, biking, boating, fishing and playing tennis.  I am a huge advocate for developing and providing more passive recreational activities here in the Wilmington area and am donating a portion of every real estate commission I receive to this cause.

Finally, I love what I do and would be delighted to help you achieve your own real estate goals!
